Time for Tags

Hello my fine feathered friends!
Aimee here with a couple of fun tags for ya!

It's been busy around my house.
Oldest is graduating from high school
(and doing so a YEAR EARLY!),
I'm in the midst of a very difficult college class,
and all of the end of year school stuff.
Whew I need a nap!

Today I have two brightly colored tags for you.
One is a little more involved than the other,
but I like 'em both.

Wanna make them?

Allllllllrighty then!

What you need:
The stamps are:
Supplies not pictured:
Miracle Tape Sheet, Teal acrylic paint, water, Stickles, black ink (I used Archival),
Viva Las Vegastamps! Super Gloss Embossing powder, stuff to color with, scissors,
black & white baker's twine, chipboard shapes, old book papers,  scraps of white paper,
Glossy Accents glue, white dangly ball trim, Tim Holtz Fragment piece (tag).

First things first:
Use the Glossy Accents
(or any clear-drying wet glue) to glue old book pages to the tags.
Be sloppy about it!
When they are dry, rip the papers away from the edges.
Paint the red one with a watered down wash of red acrylic paint.
Stamp the harlequin background on the other tag with clear embossing ink
and emboss with the VLVS embossing powder.
Paint a watered down wash of yellow paint on the tag, along
with a little blue near the top.
Let these dry.
Once they are dry, stamp the harlequin background on
the red tag with black ink. Stamp the washi background
on a scrap of thin white paper (I used my printer paper),
cut it out and stick to the bottom edge of the red tag.
use your finger and smear some teal paint on the red tag. Dry.
Spread some gold Stickles (I used Scattered Straw) along the
top of the red tag, and randomly around the bottom, too.
Get some chipboard pieces and paint away.
Put some old book paper on a couple of them before you paint them.

Stamp the elephant in the center of the yellow tag with black ink.
Stamp the elephant on white card stock and color.
Trim around him a bit and put him onto a
Miracle Tape sheet.
Fussy cut and then place him over the image on the tag.
Stamp Art Is onto some white card stock and color.
Smear a fragment piece with Glossy Accents, and place it on the stamped image.
Hold down for a minute and trim around the fragment.
Poke a hole through the paper (there's already a hole in the fragment) and tie the baker's twine through the hole. Adhere the fragment to the center of the tag.
Adhere the dangly ball trim using Glossy Accents.
Add bling around your chipboard pieces.
All done!
Adhere a little trim to the bottom edge of your
elephant tag using Glossy Accents.
Add some bling, and you're done!

Andddddd........
